A.M.'s First Blog Post

Hi there!

I would like to introduce myself. I am A.M. Midnight a new writer with over twenty-something unpublished and unfinished stories. Yeah, that's right.

I am also a mother of three amazing children who drive me crazy more often than not. I work full-time as a structural 3D drafter, which I enjoy very much, and I study English-French translation and English literature part-time.

The goal of setting up my website and writing this post is to force me to finish some of my stories, which I hope you will like WHEN I finally get to publish them. "Wink! Wink!" I plan on translating my stories from English to French, which is my first language.

The main reason why I began so many projects but haven't finished one is due to my ADHD. I'm not hiding behind my condition, just using it to perfect my style.

Allow me to explain.

Beside working with BIM contents on a daily basis and writing things that I sometimes scrap completely, I am also trying to bring my main storyline (Téntglai, which I'll introduce in another post) to life in Unreal Engine, which means that I have to learn the software and figure out how to make it happen so I could make short videos of events from that world. So, of course it has to be made in the most realistic 3D setup a beginner like me can achieve.

For that reason, mostly, because otherwise I don't really know why a writer would need one, I created an Instagram to share some amazing images of my progress, which is nil at the moment. You can find the link to my account on the contact page of my site, or in the footer.

All in all, I hope you will enjoy my stories and the content I will share once in a while with you about my progress. However, you have to understand that creation takes time, so I won't publish blog posts on a regular basis, but as often as I can given my already busy schedule.
